noob

I have connected to irc.freenode.net and join a group. How do I issue /disconnect so I can disconnect from the server, but still be connected by jbouncer? This would allow me rejoin the freenode and get all the previous messages. On the irc client window that allowed me to connect jbouncer locally, I issued /disconnect, all get is this: /disconnect: Unknown command need some help here....

To tell JBouncer to dissconnect from a server: /msg root remove NameOfServer /disconnect is to tell your client to disconnect from JBouncer without quitting. This command may vary depending what IRC client you're using, e.g. it might be /quit. JBouncer will remain connected to the server.
